The management and accessibility of academic resources play a pivotal role in fostering research and enhancing educational outcomes. At Methodist University Ghana, the traditional method of archiving student theses, involving physical copies, presents significant challenges, including restricted accessibility, difficulty in retrieval, and risks of damage. This project aims to design and implement an Online Thesis Archiving System to address these limitations by providing a centralized, web-based platform for the storage, retrieval, and management of theses. It is vital to keep track of all the scholarly works undertaken by students in the university. The proposed system leverages modern web technologies, including PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and MySQL, to create a secure, efficient, and user-friendly platform. Key features include a robust search functionality, streamlined submission and approval workflows, role-based access controls, and data encryption for enhanced security. By enabling students and faculty to access academic resources online, the system significantly improves accessibility, reduces administrative workload, and ensures the long-term preservation of scholarly works.
